CATS Owner/Founder Rob Candelaria was a high level outdoor climber, and has pioneered indoor climbing since 1988, when he cemented rocks to the wall of his gymnastics gym (so he could climb in the winter)... and invented indoor climbing. He's coached athletes like Robyn Erbesfield-Raboutou to world championships. Rob's route setting in Boulder Canyon is legendary to this day, and he brings the same rigor to route setting in CATS. Our wall is designed to build strength, endurance, and power for all climbers.
