CATS Climbing

Our climbing wall
Put your climbing to the test on our world-class bouldering wall!
CATS is home to one of the first indoor climbing walls in the world, built in 1988 by CATS Owner and Founder Rob Candelaria — a pioneer in indoor climbing and legendary route setter. Rob literally cemented rocks to the walls of his gymnastics gym to keep training during the Colorado winters… and in the process, invented a whole new sport.
Since then, CATS has helped train some of the sport’s most elite climbers, including Brooke Raboutou, Angie Payne, and Robyn Erbesfield-Raboutou. Rob’s technical and challenging route setting—both at CATS and in the iconic Boulder Canyon—continues to push climbers of all levels to build strength, endurance, and power.
Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned pro, our ever-evolving wall is the perfect place to train hard, build skill, and connect with the climbing community.
