We look forward to having you join us for some movement!

Before Class:

To allow for your experience to run more smoothly, please create a secure online account. This includes signing a Waiver of Liability & Release for yourself and/or your family.

An account and waiver of liability is REQUIRED to participate in any events at CATS gymnastics - including open gyms, clinics, or special events. 

What to Wear:
  • MASKS ARE REQUIRED, and must be worn during class. Masks may be removed for skills that pose significant risk.

  • All participants should bring a small bag to hold their belongings:

    • Hand sanitizer​

    • Water bottle

  • Long hair should be secured back tightly. Braids, pigtails, pony tail, or a bun are best.

  • No jewelry, buttons, jeans, or shoes on the gym floor. Fabric and rubber bracelets/anklets are allowed. Please not necklaces.

  • Participants should wear comfortable attire that allows for freedom of movement.

    • Most girls prefer to wear a leotard and leggings or shorts

    • Most boys prefer to wear a t-shirt and workout pants or shorts

When you Arrive:

1. Please wait in your car until 10 minutes before your scheduled class time

2. ​Check in with our front desk staff.

3. Your child's temperature will be taken, and they will be given hand sanitizer.

  • School Age Kids may be walked to the door and will wait in the main hallway for class to begin. This drop-off system helps us maintain COVID safe numbers.

    • A coach will walk ALL athletes to the back of the gym to CATS' cubbies at the beginning of class. Kids can leave all their belongings in their cubby during class.

  • Preschool Kids may be accompanied inside, and will go upstairs. Please help your child remove their shoes, put their belongings in a cubby, and wait upstairs for the coach to come get the entire class.

    • A coach will come up 2-5 minutes before class starts. Please DO NOT send your child downstairs without a coach.

During Class:
  • Bring your child's water bottle with their name on it -- with WATER ONLY please. No sports drinks or juice please.

  • Spectators are welcome to stay and watch class from the hospitality loft, IF we are not nearing capacity. Please check in at the front desk if you'd like to stay during your child's class.

  • If you need your gymnast for any reason, check in with the front desk team and they will retrieve your child from class for you. For safety reasons, please do not step on to the workout floor.​

After Class:
  • Your child will gather their belongings after class and exit CATS through the back door.

  • A staff member will walk ALL athletes around the building to the front parking lot for pick up.

  • Please wait at the front for your child  -- DO NOT drive around the alley for pick up.

Advancement:
  • CATS Staff will assess all athletes for advancement twice per year

    • April assessment will determine June registration​

    • November assessment will determine January registration

  • Parents may request an assessment at ANY TIME, by contacting CATS front desk​

    • CATS Staff will do our best to accommodate assessments during your scheduled class time. ​

    • If the evaluating staff is unavailable during your athletes class time, you may be asked to bring in your child for a 15-20 minute appointment to complete the assessment.

  • Completed assessment sheets will be sent home with ALL athletes. This sheet includes:

    • Skill evaluation for each event

    • Staff member's class recommendation for the next session

  • Athletes may stay in the same level for 6-8 months, depending on attendance
